Intensive Summer Training for Military Training Student Instructor Team of 2020 Session Ended

On August 1, Hunan University of Technology and Business (HUTB)held thetrainingmobilizationmeeting and training meeting for military training student instructor teamof 2020 session inthe Yingcai Conference Hall in the Main Campus. Party Secretary-General Tang Yayang, Vice President Zeng Fuqiu, and He Ping, Director oftheTrainingUnit of Hunan Provincial Military Command were present, together with more than150 persons, including heads of the Student Affairs Department and the Defense Education Department, instructors and core training instructorsof the Military Service Club, and members of the reserveinstructor team.
At the meeting, Vice President Zeng Fuqiu announced the commencement of the intensive training, read out the appointment of core intensive training instructors, and appointed the class monitor. TangXiaoqin, Head of the Defense Education Department,introduced the work arrangements and requirements of the intensive training of student instructor team. Jiang Haoze, as the representative of the student instructor team, delivered a speech and expressed the determination to organize and mobilize the intensive training seriously.
Mr.Tang Yayang elaborated on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s new thoughts on and new construing of military strategies, military training and people’s armed forces for a new era,and raise definiterequirements of freshman military training. Mr. He Pinggave a lecture titled “Quality Requirements of and Training LeadingMethods for CoreMilitary Training Instructors in Collegesand Universities”, instructedhow to providemilitary training in detail, and raised suggestions on subsequent training.
On the afternoon of August 20, the instructor team,after the 20-day intensive training,gave an intensive training outcomes report at the track-and-field ground of the Main Campus, and displayed military skills of march-past,emergency baton, capture techniques, bayonet charge exercise,tactics, battlefield first aid,etc.
On the very night, the student instructor team was assessed with regard to their“four skills” teaching and military theories, by an assessment group led byTang Guangqiang, Director of the Student Military Training Affairs Office of Hunan Provincial Military Command. After the assessment, Director Tang praised the outstanding performance of HUTB’s Student Instructor Team, also pointed out their shortcomings, and encouraged them to constantly strengthen their quality in the following evening training and improve their “four skills” teaching.
HUTB’s Student Instructor Team,fearless of intenseheat, attended the military training hard, and laid a solid foundation for the military training jobthis year. During the orientation period,membersof the Student Instructor Team volunteered to assist the Security Division in other campus security protectionand order maintenance work, such as gate management, traffic dispersion, etc., fully manifesting HUTB student instructors’ properattitudeand courage to shoulder responsibilities.
