HUTB Wins Award in the 4th National Evaluation of Excellent Network Educational Works in Universities

Recently, the 4thNational Evaluation of Excellent Network Educational Works in Universities, jointly hosted by the Ideological and Political Department of the Ministry of Education and the Network Social Work Bureau of the Cyberspace Administration of China, has announced the results. The work case, Practical Exploration of Network Education in Student Apartments of Universities, written by Zhang Gaoyang, a teacher from Hunan University of Technology and Business (HUTB), wins the third prize. This work was collected and submitted by HUTB and reviewed and recommended by the Center of Universities’ Network Ideological and Political Education entrusted by the Department of Education of Hunan Province.
The National Evaluation of Excellent Network Educational Works in Universities is a national selection and display platform of the results in the network education practice system, one of the “Ten Cultivation” system in universities. As one of the key activities in the national network ideological and political education, this evaluation aims to fully implement the guiding principles of the 19thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China and to further put into effect the principles of the National Education Conference, the National Conference on Ideological and Political Education in Universities, HUTB’s Seminar with Ideological and Political Teachers and the National Conference on Network Security and Information; this evaluation encourages the majority of teachers and students to actively participate in the creation of online cultural works, thus improving the modernity, appeal and effectiveness of universities’ ideological and political education in the new era. HUTB has won awards in this evaluation for three consecutive years, which fully demonstrates that HUTB has achieved good results in network ideological and political education.
