Senior Officials of Yuelu District Government and Public Security Bureau Inspects HUTB

On August 25, a delegation led by Tan Yinglin, Deputy Head of the Yuelu DistrictGovernment&Secretary of theParty Branch Committee &Director of the Yuelu DistrictPublic Security Bureau , and Tang Jiang and Wan Bei, Deputy Directors of the Public Security Bureau of Yuelu District, visited HUTB to inspect its work on safety and on-campus-risksforestalling and defusing. Tang Yayang, Secretary of HUTB Party Committee, attended relevant activities, together with the leaders of relevant departments such as the Security Department (Division), the Student Affairs Department (Division), the Modern Education Technology Center, the College Student Mental Health Education Center, and property management companies.

Mr. Tan and his delegation visited HUTB’s Police Room. They cordially communicated with the campus police and the leaders of the Security Division to know the operations, functional settings and personnel allocation of the On-campus Police Room. Mr. Tan indicated that relevant departments will be fully coordinated to help the On-campus Police Room solve the current problems and build a Fengqiao style police room.

 


The visiting delegation attended the symposiumheld at Conference Room 401 in the Second Office Building. On behalf of HUTB Party Committee, Secretary Tang Yayang thanked the PartyBranchCommittee, People's Government and Public Security Bureau of Yuelu District for their long-term valuable support for HUTB’s reform, development and stability. He hoped that the District Government and the University can further strengthen the cooperation on building a safe and law-ruled society and comprehensively and deeply screen the safety hazards and risks on the campus. He hoped that the long-term and all-round cooperation in multiple fields can generate more results to facilitate the construction of Yuelu into a safe district and HUTB an exemplary safe university.


Mr. Tan expressed that the construction of safe universities is the top priority in the construction of Yuelu into a safe district. He suggested that the Public Security Bureau of Yuelu District and HUTB set up a special group as soon as possible to formulate practical and feasible implementation plans. He hoped that HUTB can further strengthen its primary responsibility for security, focus on strengthening political security, comprehensively screen 21 types of risk points in eight areas, and especially forestall and defuse major risks. He hoped that the district government and HUTB can jointly create a batch of high-quality safety courses, cultivate a batch of safety work brands, and become a model for the construction of safe universities in the jurisdiction.
