HUTB Students Return to School in Batches for the Fall Semester of 2020

Recently, HUTB has arranged its students to return to school in batches for the fall semester of 2020 in accordance with the requirements of superior departments onepidemic prevention and control.
HUTB highly emphasizes students’ returning for the new semester. According to the guiding principles and work requirements of the relevant documents issued by the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Education, and the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, HUTB formulated and issued the Opinions on Further Strengthening HUTB’s Prevention and Control of COVID-19and convened meetings to arrange relevant work. HUTB implemented strict review of students’ applications for returning to school, strict campus gate management, strict identity verification, health testing, and information registration, thus ensuring the orderly, solid and all-around resumption of school.
After the students return to school, HUTB will implement regular campus epidemic prevention and control. Teachers and students will be organized to check and monitor their health daily, be required not to leaveor gather unlessnecessary, be prohibited from going to high and medium risk areas, and be told to minimize cross-regional mobility or travel. HUTB will regularly disinfect key areas on the campus to ensure teachers’ and students’ health and safety. In the meantime, HUTB will do a good job in organizing students' daily education management, make-up classes, examinations, teaching and other work, providing students with safety, catering, accommodation management, medical prevention and treatment and emergency responses. By doing so, HUTB aims to ensure the orderly operation of all work for the beginning of the new semester.
According to reports, currently, HUTB’s graduate and undergraduate students onthe main campus have all returned to school, and later, the students at other levels and of other types will be arranged to return to school in batches in accordance with the requirements of the epidemic prevention and control.
