The Delegation of Jilin University Visits HUTB for Investigation and Exchanges

On August 22, a 4-member delegation led by Cai Li, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Jilin University, visited HUTB for investigations and exchanges. Chen Xiaohong, HUTB President and CAE Academician, Li Dingjun and Liu Guoquan, Vice Presidents of HUTB, as well as the leaders of the Party Committee and Principal Office, the Research Institute of Big Data and Internet Innovation, the School of Business Administration, the Library, the Entrepreneurship Education and Practice Teaching Center, and the Business School of Central South University attended relevant activities.
They held an exchange seminar at Conference Room 206 in the Technology Building. Inthe meeting, President & Academician Chen Xiaohong warmly welcomed Deputy Secretary Cai Li and her delegation and highly praised Jilin University's superior disciplines like management and business. She briefly introduced HUTB’s past work in disciplinary construction, enrollment and employment and other aspects; she also explained HUTB’s achievements in rising to a first-tier university and establishing doctoral programs. She hoped that Deputy Secretary Cai Li can care for and support HUTB’s construction and development more.
Deputy Secretary Cai Li expressed her thanks to HUTB for the warm reception. She noted that the main purpose of this visit is to learn from HUTB and the School of Business of Central South University about disciplinary construction. She hoped that Academician Chen Xiaohong can give more professional guidance on disciplinary construction to the School of Management of Jilin University. Deputy Secretary Cai Li added that the experts and scholars from HUTB and the Business School of Central South University are welcome to Jilin University for exchanges and guidance.
Then, the attendees deeply exchanged views on disciplinary construction.
During this investigation, Deputy Secretary Cai Li and his delegation also visited HUTB’s Economic Management Complex, Big Data Laboratory, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creation park and other sites; they inspected the Malanshan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Mango TV, Sany Zhongchuang, and other HUTB partners; they highly affirmed and praised HUTB’s achievements and social reputation.
