CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial Government Sends a Letter of Thanks to Academician Chen Xiaohong

Recently, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government sent a letter of thanks to Academician Chen Xiaohong for her whole-hearted concern, generous support, and outstanding contribution for winning the battle against the epidemic.

The letter of thanks stated, “Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government have resolutely implemented the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions and the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council; the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government have given top priority to people’s safety and health and put epidemic prevention and control at the top of current agenda; the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government have united and lead the people of the whole province to fight the epidemic together.”

The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government wrote in the letter, “at the critical moment of epidemic prevention and control, Academician Chen Xiaohong’s whole-hearted concern and generous support contributed to Hunan's winning the battle against the epidemic. Academician Chen Xiaohong's act of great love embodies the traditional Chinese virtue of ‘reaching out to others’. Such act is forever remembered and appreciated by the people of Hunan.”

The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government emphasized, “Winter will eventually pass, and all disasters are sure to be overcome. We firmly believe that with the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, the full support from all sectors of society, and the joint efforts of the people of the whole province, we are surely to completely win this smokeless war!

During the epidemic prevention and control, besides actively donating medical materials, President Chen Xiaohong also spared no effort to contribute wisdom and strength to the anti-epidemic work. She organized her team to offer suggestions to the leaders of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Hunan Provincial Government, and relevant departments.
