HUTB Convenes Meeting on Regular Epidemic Prevention and Control on Campus

On the morning of June 15, HUTB held a meeting on the regular epidemic prevention and control oncampus at Conference Room 401 in the Second Office Building. This meeting was attended by Party Secretary Tang Yayang and heads of departments related to the Office of HUTB’s Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control.
At the meeting, Shen Haixiang, Director of the Office of the Leading Group and Director of the Logistics Division, summarized HUTB’s epidemic prevention and control work in the early stage. The heads of various departments reported on the specific work such as the management on campus gates, anti-epidemic materials, and accommodation management, as well as handling of campus passes, linkage between the university and allsecondaryschools. These leaders elaborated on the problems and difficulties faced in the current epidemic prevention and control work, and put forward suggestions for further improvements.
Party Secretary Tang Yayang affirmed the anti-epidemic results all departments had achieved in the early stage. He mentioned, “Currently, the pandemic is still spreading overseas, and Beijing has seen a cluster of COVID-19 infections. The epidemic prevention and control situation remains severe. We must strengthen the bottom line thinking and must not slack off with paralysis or fluke mentality. Relevant departments should convene special meetings to carefully sort out the current problems and difficulties in various links and to further refine the work plans and reportthe sameto the Office of the Leading Group. The Office of the Leading Group should strictly follow the national, provincial, and municipal epidemic prevention and control requirements and actively contact relevant departments to timely obtain information. The Office of the Leading Group must work better with relevant departments to throughly implement the prevention and control measures in all links. The Office of the Leading Group should make further intensive efforts to supervise and randomly inspect the epidemic prevention and control work and keep giving full play to the exemplary and leading role of party members and cadres. The Office of the Leading Group should well carry out the work of approval and management on large-scale campus activities and faculty business travel. At the same time, this Office should also advance the epidemic prevention and control and maintain the safety and stability on campus. (Reported by Zhang Gaoyang)
