HUTB students won the Title of “National Excellent League Member of Communist Youth League"

Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League issued a “Decision on Commending”National Outstanding Communist Youth League Members” "National Outstanding Communist Youth League Cadres”and“National May 4th Red Flag Youth LeagueCommittee(Youth League Branch) ”. Yuan Bin, a senior studentfrom the School of Design and Art of HUTB, was awarded the title of“National Outstanding Communist Youth League Member” in 2020. This is the first time that our university student won this honor.
Yuan Bin is the second term directorof Xi Jinping's New Era Chinese Characteristic Thought Learning Societyof HUTB, a probationary member of the Communist Party of China. He has actively devoted himself to public service and voluntary preaching. He has led the members of the Learning Society to combine the latest theoretical achievements of the Party with social hot spots,andmade use of his spare time and summer and winter vacationsto go deep into the urban and rural grassroots to preach,and won the title of “Outstanding Communist Youth League Member of Hunan Province” in 2019. During Covid-19 outbreak, Yuan Bin registeredto his community for voluntary epidemic prevention. Yuan Bin said: “Young people should always remember their responsibilities and exercise their abilities all the time. They should not flinch from hardships and dangers, and should not fail to dogood thingsthough they may be minoror small."
The learning society is a brand of ideological and political work for universitystudentsadvocated by HUTB. In the past four years since its establishment, the members of the learning society have adhered dust on their feet and clothes, and are active in Hunan’s land. They have traveled all over the provinceandcarried out more than 1,200 preaching activities. They have successively won many honors such as “National Vitality League Branch", “Lotus Students, Model Strength” and “Hunan University Students' Excellent Service Team for Summer Vacation Social Practice Activities in the Program of Officials, Scientists and Doctors, University Students serve for Countryside".
"National Outstanding Communist Youth League Members", “National Outstanding Communist Youth League Cadres” and “National May 4th Red Flag Youth LeagueCommittee(Youth League Branch)” are the highest honors awarded by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to members, cadres and grassroots organizations. This award reflects the results of the training of league members and the improvement of ideological and theoretical literacy of students ofHUTBin recent years. It is also an affirmation and encouragement for HUTB to further lead, serve, unite and deepen the reform of the work of the Communist Youth League.
