【Epidemic Prevention and Control】Notice on Delaying the Opening Time of HUTB

All teachers and students:

In order to strengthen the prevention and control of the novel coronaviruspneumonia epidemic, effectively reduce the crew concentration, block the spread of the epidemic, and win the war of epidemicprevention and control, according to the spirit of the Notice on Delaying EnterprisesResumption Enterprises and Schools Opening in the Whole Provinceissued by the General Office of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government and relevant notification requirements of the Provincial Education Department, the relevant matters regarding delayof the semesterbeginning inHUTB are hereby notified as follows:

1. The opening time shall be delayed to the dateafter February 24, and the university shallgive a notice separately according to the epidemic prevention and control situation.

2. Students are not allowed to return to the university before the new semester begins.

3. Before the beginning of the semester, the university shallnot organize offline centralized teaching activities, collective activities and training activities, and the make-up examinations and internships shall be conducted after the beginning of the semester. During the delay period, teachers and students are expected to make full use of the network platform and teaching resources to carry out online learning and guidance so as to “study continuouslywhile classes suspended”.
