Good news! Construction of Our University's Three Provincial Scientific Research Platform Projects Approved

Recently, it's known from Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Hunan Provincial Education Department that the Hunan key laboratory of "statistical learning and intelligent computing" of Provincial Department of Science and Technology as well as the "logistics system optimization and operation management" technology innovation team and the "digital economy and high quality development" key laboratory of Hunan Provincial Education Department declared by our university are approved successfully.
The Hunan key laboratory of "statistical learning and intelligent computing" mainly researches four directions-financial statistics and risk management, big data analysis and business statistics, modeling and application of economic statistics as well as urban big data statistics and decision-making by such method and technologies as statistical learning, deep learning and intelligent computing based on the theme-integrated study on statistical approach, data mining and practical problem in the era of big data. The "logistics system optimization and operation management" technology innovation team insists on the idea of "keeping up with the academic foreland and carrying out innovative research", conducts in-depth study of frontier hot issues in the field of logistics system optimization and operation management and forms four research directions (including logistics information processing, logistics system modeling, logistics system optimization and logistics operation management) which have a focus, respectively and support each other on the basis of provincial scientific research platforms of our university such as "double first-class" construction discipline management science and engineering in Hunan Province, Hunan mobile e-commerce 2011 collaborative innovation center and Hunan key laboratory of "mobile business intelligence". The "digital economy and high quality development" key laboratory absorbs and fuses superior team and resources of applied economics as well as concentrates on the study of five directions-digital economy, financial technology, smart city, smart e-commerce and high-quality development assessment.
In recent years, our university pays high attention to the scientific research platform construction, actively declares various provincial scientific research platforms, continuously introduces scientific research platform construction measures and integrates superior resources, compacts the research direction, refines the research characteristics as well as gives full play to demonstrating, leading and radiating role of the scientific research platform. Because the construction of three provincial scientific research platform projects is approved, the provincial scientific research platform layout of our university is further optimized as well as scientific research level and scientific and technological innovation capacity of our university are improved with a great significance on supporting the discipline construction, strengthening the talent team construction and serving local economy and society this time.
