Teachers and Students of Our University Won Many Awards in Sports Events

On the occasion of the 70thAnniversary, our school's teachers and students achieved good results in national and provincial sports events.
Luo Yanchun, Yang Yue and Zheng Yizhong, three teachers in the Department of Sports Teaching and Research selected the video Blossom Agefrom the group gymnastic performance videos on the opening ceremony of our school's 21stTrack Meet and submitted the video to participate in the 2019 Group Gymnastics Training Results Selection of Federation of University Sports of China Aerobics Rhythmic Gymastics Branch and won the first prize of single match of gymnastics. On November 16, Secretary Kuang Yumei of the Department of Sports Teaching and Research and teacher Luo Yanchun participated in the award ceremony held in the China Pharmaceutical University.
On November 19, teacher Fu Shengfeng from the Department of Sports Teaching and Research participated in the First Competition for Campus Football Teaching and Coaching Skills of National College Physical Education Teachers held in Nanjing University as the representative of our school's high-level sports team coach and won the third prize of the race training group.
The 2019 Hunan Provincial College Students Sports Dance Competition organized by the Hunan Provincial Education Department was closed in Hunan University of Science and Technology at the night of November 19. Over 800 contestants from 25 provincial colleges and universities participated in the competition. Our school selected 15 students to participate in the competition under the guidance of teacher Yuan Chunyan. Our students fought bravely in the competition and won two gold medals: champion of group dancing of the college team and champion of double cha-cha of two students of Xiao Jie and Liu Haodong.
