The 4th Forum on Risk Management and Financial Statistics Was Held in Our University

On November 9, the 4th(2019) Forum on Risk Management and Financial Statistics was held in our university. This forum was one of a series of activities for the 70thanniversary. More than 300 teachers and students from more than 40 colleges and universities, including Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and our university attended.
At the beginning of the forum, Vice President Zeng Fuqiu introduced the development of our university and warmly welcomed the experts and scholars. Yu Le'an, Conference President and Professor of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, introduced the origin and development of the forum, thanked the scholars for their long-term support and wished the forum a smooth opening.
Professor Li Jianping of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Tang Ke of Tsinghua University and Professor Guo Ye of Xiamen University made thematic reports, respectively. The thematic report was presided over by Professor Liu Saihong, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Finance.
Professor Li Jianping, winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, made a report on risk integration, financial statement data in risk integration, risk identification based on text data and risk integration based on text data with the title of "Risk Identification and Integration Measurement in the Big Data Environment". Professor Tang Ke, winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, made a report on impact of political risk on public goods, relationship between political risk and demand & supply, and methods of avoiding political risk with the title of "Political Uncertainty and Commodity Market". Professor Guo Ye made a report on the definition and risk of China asset securitization, bank credit asset securitization and shadow banking, enterprise asset securitization and shadow banking, as well as regulatory enlightenment with the title of "Shadow Banking and China Asset Securitization in the Era of New Regulations on Post Asset Management".
At the periodical forum stage, Researcher Lyu Xinye of the Issues in Agricultural EconomyPeriodical Office, Professor Xiong Xiong of the Editorial Department of the Journal of Management Science, Professor Fang Yong of the Editorial Department of System Science and Mathematics, Doctor Li Lin of the Editorial Department of System Engineering Theory and Practice, and Professor Wu Dengsheng of the Editorial Department of Chinese Journal of Management Science, respectively made detailed comments on the development course and future development direction of their respective periodicals, and introduced the methods and requirements of submission and the workflow of review.
In the sub-forum stage, 20 experts from more than 10 colleges and universities read out their papers. Professor Yu Le'an of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Professor Li Zhenghui of Guangzhou University and Professor Wu Dengsheng of Editorial Department of Chinese Journal of Management Sciencemade comments. At the report stage, Professor Hong Junjie of University of Foreign Trade and Professor Yu Le'an of Beijing University of Chemical Technology made thematic reports, respectively. At the closing ceremony, Professor Li Zhenghui, the Conference President, explained the original intention of the forum, introduced the basic information of the next organizer, and invited scholars from all walks of life to participate actively.
This forum was full of warm and strong academic atmosphere, which deepened cognition and understanding of teachers and students in relevant academic fields, and improved their theoretical knowledge and scientific research level. (School of Finance)
