The Special Academic Forum of "Tourism Resources and National Strategy" Was Convened in Our University

On October 19, the special academic forum of "Tourism Resources and National Strategy" sponsored by the Editorial Department of Journal of Natural Resources, Academic Journal Center of Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS and undertaken by Changsha University was convened in our university. Tang Yayang, the Secretary of the Party Committee of our University, Liu Peilin, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Changsha University, Cheng Shengkui, the President of China Society Of Natural Resources, Lu Lin, the Vice President of Anhui Normal University, Xu Honggang, the Dean of School of Tourism Management, Sun Yat-sen University, etc. attended the forum. The over 60 experts and scholars from over 20 domestic colleges and universities and scientific research institutions in the field of tourism research field participated in the forum.
The Secretary Tang Yayang extended a warm welcome and sincere thanks to the experts and scholars from all over the world in the speed on behalf of university. He indicated that this year is the 70thanniversary of school, the first year of renaming key university and the most critical construction year of doctoral program and "Double First-class". We feel honored that all experts could visit our university for guidance in this critical and important time node of school establishment and development. He proposed several suggestions: Firstly, the conference could form a kind of long-term mechanism. Secondly, the advice and suggestions about the academic results of this theme are offered to the relevant department through the survey report or participation method. Thirdly, the deep cooperation and exchange mechanism is established to achieve the academic guidance, student exchange, discipline construction, etc.
The seminar theme was "Tourism Resources and National Strategy" and aimed to further improve the research level of tourism resources and national strategy, promote the degree of internationalization of China's tourism research, establish the communication and exchange platform for the domestic tourism geography and the experts in the relevant fields, and strengthen the academic exchange and interaction.
During that period, all experts and scholars conducted the extensive exchange discussion by centering on the theoretical connotation and scientific problem of tourism resources under the background of national strategy, the environment governance of rural tourism, three dimensional presentation of traditional villages and towns, ecological compensation of residents, tourism resource advantages of national-level poverty-stricken countries and other latest research results, and the suggestions of protecting and utilizing the tourism resources in the next step, etc., and provided the advices and suggestions for the tourism resource development and national strategy implementation.
