Our University Was Awarded the 2018 Advanced Unit of Voluntary Blood Donation of Colleges and Universities in Hunan Province

Recently, Provincial Commission of Health and Hunan Provincial Education Department jointly issued Bulletin about Commending the Advanced Units and Excellent Organizers with Unpaid Blood Donation in the Colleges and Universities in the Whole Province in 2018, and commended the advanced units and excellent organizers in 2018. Our university was awarded the advanced unit with unpaid blood donations in colleges and universities in Hunan Province.

In 2018-2019, our university organized over 3,000 students to conduct the unpaid blood donation and received the thank letter from the Changsha Blood Center for many times. In the meantime, our young volunteer service team conducted the social practice in the Summer Vacation and Holidays and Festivals by preaching the unpaid blood donation knowledge in community and appealing citizens to proactively participate in the unpaid blood donation.  

In recent years, our university has paid high attention to the voluntary service work of university students, has constantly carried out the gratitude education and responsibility education to constantly transmit the social care and carry forward the social healthy atmosphere, has formed good atmosphere of "caring the society and glorious in donating blood" in the whole university, and has shown good spirituality of mutual help and care of teachers and students and caring for life to the society.
