[Lushan Lecture Room] The Professor He Keng, the Vice Director of the Eleventh National People's Congress Standing Committee and Financial and Economic Committee, Gave Lectures in Our University

On Sept. 27, the Professor He Keng, the Committee Member of National Philosophy and Social Science Expert Advisory Committee, Vice Chairman and Chief Economist of Innovation China Think Tank, President of China City Scientific Development Association, and the Vice Director of the Eleventh National People's Congress Standing Committee and Financial and Economic Committee, was invited to give Lecture 95 of "Lushan Lecture Room", with the theme of "specifying current economic situation and promoting the high-quality development of economy". The lecture was presided over by the Professor Zhang Yangbin, the Dean of International Business School, and over 400 teachers and students in our university, off-campus experts and scholars listened to the lecture.
Firstly, the Professor He Keng analyzed and interpreted the severe situation confronted by China's economy at present, researched and judged China's economic situation in the future, and carried out the detailed discussion and analysis by centering on the 2018 Central Economic Work Conference spirit "change in stability and worry in change".

When mentioned the real estate problem, the Professor He Keng thought China's real estate industry is in a dilemma by combining the relevant statistical survey data, and shall resolutely implement the General Secretary Xi Jinping's indication spirit - "the house is used for living, instead of speculation" and strengthen the determination and altitude that the real estate shall serve people in the development and usage. When mentioned the high-quality development China's economy, the Professor He Keng specially emphasized that the industry removal would cause the increase of the number of unemployed and laid-off persons. The stabilization of employment may become the primary task at present. In the meantime, he thought Sino-American Trade War has less impact on China's economy as a whole, but the trade war not only involves the economy, but also generates psychological impact on China for a long term. The Sino-American Trade War is not only the economic friction among powers, but also is the competition of fundamental political system between two countries. He proposed that the modern social enterprises and individual innovation would bring the rapid advance of productivity and the reform of system in combination with the fourth industrial revolution, the development features and age background in the new economic era to promote high automation and informatization.
Finally, the Professor He Keng looked forward to China's economic development in the future, and expressed his earnest expectation to students.
