Professor Deng Lianfan of Our University Was Employed as the First Special Supervisor of Hunan Provincial Supervision Committee

On Sep. 19, the First Appointment Meeting of Special Supervisors of Hunan Provincial Supervision Committee was held in Changsha, of which 27 special supervisors were appointed. Professor Deng Lianfan, Director of Collaborative Innovation center of Anti-corruption of our university, was appointed as the special supervisor. Fu Kui, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and Director of the Provincial Supervision Commission, issued the Letter of Appointment for the special supervisor and made a speech.
The meeting emphasized that the special supervisor system is a new mechanism based on the experience summary, and combined with new anti-corruption situations and features of discipline inspection and supervision organs. The establishment and implementation of the special supervisor system is an urgent need to consolidate and develop the overwhelming victory in the anti-corruption campaign, an inevitable requirement to continuously deepen the reform of the national supervision system, and an important measure to prevent and resolve the risk challenges of the discipline inspection and supervision teams.
At the meeting, it was pointed out that the special supervisors should pursue the performance of duties and obligations as a glorious cause. They should become good supervisors to show the important power of the external supervision; become good staff officers to offer advice and suggestions for the discipline inspection and supervision; become good liaison officers to play a role of bridge and link; become good guides to combat corruption and build a clean government.
The meeting requested that Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and Provincial Supervision Commission should integrate the special supervisor work into the annual work deployment, clarify the responsibilities and tasks, build an activity platform, innovate the working mechanism, strengthen the daily management, and create good conditions for the special supervisor work.
