Recently, Shanghai Alumni Association of our university held the 2019 annual meeting. Nearly 200 alumni from Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other places gathered to talk about friendship. Tang Yayang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, and senior professor Liu Siwei attended.
Zou Hongli, Rotating President of Shanghai Alumni Association, delivered a welcome speech. He said that Shanghai Alumni Association is a spiritual home for alumni to share success and joy, and transmit friendship and value, and an emotional bond to contact their alma mater and alumni, hoping that alumni could strengthen communication, close the ranks, help each other and contribute to the development of their alma mater.

In the theme sharing link, Liao Hualin, Xia Xiaohui and Peng Ji respectively made a sharing entitled "Open Mind, Share Value", "Secret of Long-term Growth of Enterprises -- Accumulation", "Situation · Strategy · Countermeasure -- Based on the Thinking of Several Hot Issues". Professor Liu Siwei gave a lecture entitled "Cause · Process · Countermeasure of Sino-US Trade War", and analyzed China's confidence in dealing with trade war and its future economic trend. Alumni said that they were deeply inspired.
Yi Chubin, President of Shanghai Alumni Association, delivered a speech at the annual meeting, expressing congratulations on the 70thanniversary of the alma mater on behalf of all alumni.
The program of the annual meeting was brilliant, and the sand painting perfectly presented the 70-year struggle course of Hunan University of Technology and Business. Song and dance, shadowboxing, conjuring, the king of masks, chorus and other wonderful programs were staged in turn.
