Eight NNSFC Projects of Our University Were Approved in 2019

On Aug. 16, NNSFC released the evaluation results of 2019 centralized application projects. Eight projects of our university were funded, with the funding cost of RMB 2.59 million, and the project approval rate was significantly higher than that of last year.

In terms of the department distribution, there were 6 projects of Management Department, 1 project of Information Department and 1 project of Geoscience Department; in terms of project types, there were 3 general projects and 5 youth projects; from the perspective of the responsible unit, the school distribution of the project was as follows: 2 projects of Institute of Big Data (general project); 2 projects of School of Computer Science & Information Technology (1 general project and youth project, respectively); 1 project of School of Tourism Management (youth project); 1 project of School of Business Administration (youth project); 1 project of School of Finance (youth project); 1 project of School of Economy & Trade (youth project).

In recent years, our university has systematically designed management system of scientific research, personnel and teaching, increased the incentive mechanism and support for scientific research, enhanced the enthusiasm of teachers' scientific research project application, and strengthened project application training and scientific research service. The comprehensive effect has become increasingly apparent after several years of policy trial, revision and innovation. In order to promote doctoral program and "Double First-rate" construction of our university, Scientific Research Office will forge ahead, make more efforts to do well in scientific research management and service, as well as organization and application, and strive to achieve better results next year.
