On Jun. 20, the 2019 Review Meeting for Conclusion of the Key Topic of National High-end Think Tank "Research on Strategy, Path and Policy of China's Intelligent Logistics Development" was held in Classroom 206 of Big Data Analysis Laboratory in Science and Technology Building of our university. Academician Nie Jianguo, Director of Academic Committee of Tsinghua University and President of Institute of Future Urban and Infrastructure, Ouyang Xiaoping, alternate member of the 19thNational Congress of the Communist Party, Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering of Xiangtan University and academician of Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology, Academician Fan Guobin, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Academy of Engineering Physics, Researcher Bei Yaxing, former Director of Economic Research Information Center of People's Government of Hunan Province, Professor Liu Zhixue of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professors Luo Zhigang and Lyu Xin of National University of Defense Technology, Professors Peng Hui and Xu Xuanhua of Central South University, Professor Fu Ming of Changsha University of Science and Technology and other experts attended. President & Academician Chen Xiaohong of our university, the project director, and members of the project team of Business School of Central South University and Hunan University of Technology and Business attended the review meeting. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Li Dingjun.
President & Academician Chen Xiaohong expressed sincere thanks to the experts for their long-term care and help to our university, and briefly introduced the project background and main research ideas of "Research on Strategy, Path and Policy of China's Intelligent Logistics Development".
Professor Huang Fuhua reported the research achievements of the overview of intelligent logistics development, the development status of major developed countries, the development status and problems of China's intelligent logistics, development strategy, main path and policy system.
The participating academicians and experts asked questions and reviewed the project research process, development strategy, main path, key project, policy system and safeguard measure, and put forward guiding opinions and suggestions based on the development status of China's intelligent logistics.
Academician Nie Jianguo believed that the report proposed the intelligent logistics strategy design in line with China's national conditions, and he suggested further considering the issue of intelligent logistics management linkage and the establishment of national key laboratory and major special projects for intelligent logistics. Academician Ouyang Xiaoping suggested that the research on the interaction of the IoT, Internet, intelligent sensory perceptual system should be strengthened due to the reasonable project design and rich early results. Academician Fan Guobin fully affirmed the innovation of the project, and proposed to analyze the differences between logistics and intelligent logistics and the different needs of different groups for intelligent logistics. Other participating experts and scholars put forward valuable suggestions on national strategy, system, people's livelihood, consumption, ecology, intellectual technology and security.
After in-depth discussion, the expert group agreed that: the project report was based on accurate and detailed data, normative quotation, profound analysis and perspectiveness, having a strong guiding significance for the future development of China's intelligent logistics.
In the end, academician Chen Xiaohong expressed her sincere thanks to the experts and scholars for their valuable opinions. She pointed out that the new generation of information technology such as 5G, big data, cloud computing, IoT and AI, etc. would bring unprecedented revolutions to logistics industry. The intelligent logistics, as a higher-level development form and strategic direction, discarded the old ways of life in favor of the new, which would become a large-scale application scenario of 5G communication technology and an important pillar of the digital economy. Through the in-depth research on the new technologies of the logistics industry and major logistics enterprises, this project combed the main problems existing in development of China's intelligent logistics, and put forward development strategy, main path, key project, policy system and safeguard measure suitable for China's national conditions. She hoped that under the guidance of academicians and experts and the efforts of the research team, the development strategy and implementation path of intelligent logistics in line with China's national conditions would be put forward to better serve the high-quality development of the national economy.
The meeting broadened the academic vision of project team members, and clarified the direction of project research to be promoted, providing new enlightenment for further improvement of the research results of the project. The research and achievements of this project promoted the academic reputation of our university in the field of intelligent logistics, further promoting our research and teaching work in related fields to a new level.
