[Lushan Grand Lecture Hall] President & Academician Chen Xiaohong Gave a Lecture on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Era of

On Jun. 11, the Fourth Lecture of "My Way of Ideal and Research" and the Ninety-third Lecture in Lushan Grand Lecture Hall were held in Yingcai Lecture Hall of the library. President & Academician Chen Xiaohong made an academic report entitled "Research on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Era of "'intelligence +'". Vice Presidents Zeng Fuqiu, Li Dingjun and Liu Guoquan attended the lecture. The school principals responsible for degree and graduate education of secondary training units, postgraduate officers and head teachers as well as all students of 2018-class postgraduates, digital economy academician excellence class and intelligent management academician excellence class listened to the lecture. The lecture was presided over by Vice President Zeng Fuqiu.
Academician Chen Xiaohong expounded the research on innovation and entrepreneurship in the era of "intelligence +" from the development of the era led by innovation, "intelligence +" and innovation and entrepreneurship, and research direction of entrepreneurship mode in the era of "intelligence +". She pointed out that innovation-driven had become a national strategy. It was the destiny of a country, the general trend of the world and the force of development. China's innovation-driven also faced challenges such as the core technology controlled by others, the China's innovation development restrained by the western developed countries, and the scientific and technological innovation capacity to be strengthened, etc. She stressed that innovation and entrepreneurship would promote industrial transformation and upgrading, accelerate the integration of digital new technologies, and cause significant economic and social changes. Innovation should be the principal line of all work. Innovation and entrepreneurship ushered in the era of "intelligence +", which provided new impetus.
In the lecture, academician Chen Xiaohong analyzed the background of "intelligence +" in combination with current hot topics, and explained the innovation and change brought by "intelligence +" to government affairs, transportation, environmental protection, finance, medical treatment, education, manufacturing, agriculture and other industries. She said that innovation was the foundation and premise of entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship was the embodiment and extension of innovation. It was an inevitable result of technological development from "Internet +" to "intelligence +". We can realize intelligent entrepreneurial decision-making, accurate entrepreneurial model, coordinated entrepreneurial ecology and diversified entrepreneurial cases, and open a new era of "intelligent +" innovation and entrepreneurship with "enabling everything and sharing the Internet" only by deeply integrating intelligent technology with traditional industries and strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship practice!
She also introduced the innovation and entrepreneurship practice and exploration of our university in the fields of AI, international scientific and technological cooperation, big data, etc. in combination with her own research, and encouraged students to cultivate the patriotism and high aspirations, bravely scale new heights, work hard, do more research, contribute to the country and serve the society.
In the interactive section, academician Chen had a warm exchange on scientific and technological innovation, "intelligent +" education, university student innovation and entrepreneurship with students, and patiently and meticulously answered their questions. The lecture by President & Academician Chen Xiaohong had a wide field of vision, rich content, humorous language, and simple understanding, triggering a lot of applause.
