Graduate Symposium: Forge Ahead with Full Harvest

On Jun. 11, the 2019-class graduate symposium of our university was held in conference room 401 of No. 2 Office Building. Tang Yayang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, had a discussion with 45 representatives of 2019-class graduates to share the friendship between teachers and students and talk about a bright future.
In a light-hearted atmosphere, Yuan Man, Zheng Peng, Fang Xinzi, Tang Lingling, Li Xian and other students spoke. They looked back four-year growth experience and learning achievements in the university, expressed their attachment to the alma mater and their reluctance to their teachers and friends, talked freely about their plans and expectations for the future, and shared from the aspects of postgraduate and doctor entrance examination, overseas study, innovation and entrepreneurship and grassroots employment. Graduates said that they would always remember the school motto, carry forward the spirit of HNUC, and add luster to the alma mater.
The graduate representatives also offered suggestions for the construction and development of the alma mater from the aspects of education and teaching, student management, employment, practical education and campus culture, etc. They also expressed their love for the alma mater and classmates by playing guitar and singing Do Not Say goodbye.
Secretary Tang Yayang listened carefully to the speeches of the graduates, affirmed their vigorous vitality and pursuit of dreams, and praised them as excellent HNUC students who had ideals, patterns and feelings, and were trustworthy and worth expecting. He congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their studies, thanked the students for their valuable suggestions for the development of the university, and gave his best wishes to students for the upcoming new journey of life.
With a strong sense of reluctance and expectation, he said to the graduates that: firstly, we must keep firmly in mind the entrustment of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the spirit of the May 4thSpeech. Next, we should keep in mind the school motto and school spirit, and always be the inheritors of HNUC spirit. Furthermore, we should quickly realize the role change, enhance the capacity of psychological enduring, independent living, interpersonal communication and coping with setbacks. In addition, we should make a life plan, integrate personal development into the national needs, cultivate our own core competitiveness, and regard learning as a way of life and a lofty spiritual pursuit. Besides, we should do well every first time in life and seize every opportunity for development. Finally, I hope that you can come back home often. The university is your common spiritual home.
