Our University Made Great Achievements in the 9th Hunan University Student E-commerce Competition

On Jun. 1, the Hunan Selective Trial of the 9thNational University Student E-commerce "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship" Challenge Competition and 2019 Hunan "Yangdian Fashion Makeup Cup" University Student E-commerce Competition sponsored by the Provincial Education Department and the Provincial Department of Commerce, co-organized by the E-commerce Education Professional Committee of the Provincial Higher Education Association and organized by HNUC and Changsha Electronic Commerce Association were held in our university. Of the 7 teams selected by our university, 6 teams won the first prize, ranking first among the colleges and universities in the province.

Tang Yawu, Deputy Director-general of Provincial Education Department, Vice President Liu Guoquan of our university, Wang Rong, Deputy Director-general of High Education Office of Provincial Education Department, Hu Songqiang, Director-general of E-commerce Department of the Provincial Commerce Department, Peng Lifang, Deputy Director of the E-commerce Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Yang Xingkai, member of the E-commerce Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Dai Yuefeng, President of Changsha Electronic Commerce Association and Chairman of Yujiahui Co., Ltd., Wang Yingping, Secretary-general of Changsha Electronic Commerce Association, Zhou Zhongbao, President of E-commerce Professional Committee of Provincial Higher Education Association, and other leaders attended the opening ceremony.
Vice President Liu Guoquan expressed warm welcome and heartfelt thanks for the arrival, and briefly introduced the development of the university. He said that the e-commerce and the internet economy were the important impetus for the high-quality economic development in the new era. It is an important mission for the reform and development of e-commerce major in colleges and universities to vigorously cultivate e-commerce senior talents matching the development of e-commerce industry.
Hu Songqiang, Director-general of E-commerce Department of the Provincial Commerce Department, pointed out that the organization and development of Hunan e-commerce competition was not only conducive to improving the innovation and entrepreneurship ability and employment competitiveness in the field of e-commerce, but also conducive to promoting learning, teaching and innovation through competition, thus reserving human resources for the Hunan e-commerce development and serving the economic and social development of Hunan Province.
Tang Yawu, Deputy Director-general of Provincial Education Department, hoped that all participating colleges and universities would compete in a good spirit style and level, make full use of the platform of e-commerce competition, strengthen the communication, learn from each other and improve together. Furthermore, the participants should seriously consider and plan the construction and reform of e-commerce major, give full play to the leading and promoting role of discipline competition, focus on cultivating student's scientific theoretical literacy and practical innovation spirit, and constantly improve the talent cultivation quality and the ability to serve the economic and social development.
The competition was divided into theme competition and cross-border competition, attracting 100 teams from 39 colleges and universities across the province. The project involved network technology, cultural media, catering, environmental protection, e-commerce, cloud data service, biological medicine, intelligent manufacturing, digital economy, creative platform, green economy and other fields.
The competition was divided into works show and on-site reply. The participating teams presented the topics, scheme contents and implementation processes. They either designed high-tech products based on the forefront of e-commerce development, or tried to focus on social hot and difficult issues with e-commerce development through the establishment of "online" and "offline" service platforms, and the innovation of business and profit models.


After the fierce competition, 14 teams (including "Yundengdashi", etc.) from Hunan University won the first prize in the theme competition, and 12 works (including "Export Marketing Plan of Sunglasses Based on Amazon Platform", etc.) of HNUC won the first prize in the cross-border competition. Twenty teams (including "Yushangfangzhiyou", etc.) from Hunan University of Arts and Science won the second prize in the theme competition, and 16 works (including "Export Marketing Plan of Unicorn Ringtoss", etc.) of Hunan Agricultural University won the second prize in the cross-border competition. Nineteen teams (including "Go Fun" of "Youth and Children Calligraphy", etc.) from University Of South China won the third prize of the theme competition, and 17 works (including "Cross-border Export Marketing Plan of Cool Sunglasses", etc.) of Hunan University of Science and Technology won the third prize of the cross-border competition. Eight universities (including Xiangtan University, etc.) won the Excellence Organization Award.
