Our University Made Great Achievements in the 13th Hunan "Challenge Cup" Competition

From May 31 to Jun. 1, the 13th"Challenge Cup" Competition for Extracurricular Academic Technical Works of Hunan University Students was held at Central South University of Forestry and Technology. Our university won 1 first prize, 3 second prizes and 4 third prizes, and won the "Champion Cup" of this competition.

Among them, the work - Why Is "Hollow Village" Not Empty? -- Coordinated Governance of the "Hollow House Renovation +" Model of Small Town in Yueyang City from the Perspective of Farmers' Livelihoodwon the first prize. The university attached great importance to this competition. Since October last year, the Youth League Committee of the university has established the preparatory working team for provincial competition of the 13th"Challenge Cup", actively organized and carried out the "Challenge Cup" Competition for Extracurricular Academic Work of University Students, and experts from inside and outside the university were invited to evaluate the works applied in the competition. After the selection through preliminary contest, intermediary contest and final in university, 10 excellent works were finally selected to participate in the provincial competition of "Challenge Cup", of which 8 works were shortlisted for the final.

This "Challenge Cup" Competition for Extracurricular Academic Technical Works of Hunan University Students was sponsored by the League Committee, Provincial Education Department, Provincial Association for Science and Technology, Provincial Academy of Social Sciences and Provincial Students' Federation. After three-month application, preliminary assessment, review and expert review, 277 works of 36 undergraduate colleges and universities were shortlisted for the final. The entries were divided into three categories: natural science (academic papers), philosophy and social sciences (social investigation reports and academic papers) and scientific and technological invention and production.
