Project achievements planning docking meeting on “Key Technology Bottlenecks and Countermeasures Scheme Research for Sichuan-Tibet Railway Construction” was held in Beijing recently. Academician Chen Xiaohong, President of HNUC, attended the meeting as the deputy leader of the research group. Academician He Huawu, project leader and vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, presided over the meeting. A total of more than 70 people attended the meeting. The participants included the heads and deputy heads of each project, including Lu Chunfang, Yu Mengsun, Yang Zhifeng, Ning Bin, Chen Xiaohong and other academicians. There were more than 70 persons attended the meeting, also special guest academicians including Fu Zhiwei, Hu Wenrui, Lu Youzhen, Liu He, and the head of the Consulting Office of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the heads of relevant department, the leaders of the China Railway Corporation and the Sichuan-Tibet Railway Design Unit and related personnel of the project team.

The academicians and experts at the meeting discussed the content of the project results planning, and put forward suggestions for doing a good job in consultation and feasibility study, strengthening the docking of the research team and the design unit, and timely feedback research results. Zheng Jian, chief engineer of China Railway Corporation, and other leaders put forward important constructive opinions on the development of project.
