New Breakthroughs in Achievements of Educational Science Research in HNUC

The Provincial Education Department announced the awards of the 4th Hunan Provincial Excellent Achievements Award for Educational Science Research on April 16th, HNUC won three awards for Educational Science Research Achievements. Among them, Prof. Wu Yixiong presided over the “Building and Practice of the ‘Five in One’ New Professional Peasant Training System in the Process of Urbanization” and won the first prize. The “University Education Wisdom Theory” presided over by Prof. Chen Feihu won the second prize. Prof. Chen Rongyuan won the third prize in the “Practice and Innovation of Software Engineering Professional Training under the mode of Two strong, Three fusion and Four transformation”.

The total number of awards won by HNUC ranks third in the provincial undergraduate colleges and universities. It is one of the three undergraduate colleges and universities which have won the first, second and third prizes at the same time. The other two winners are Hunan University and Hunan Normal University. It is also the best result of the excellent achievements in educational scientific research in the past years of HNUC, also it has made a new breakthroughs in the total number of awards and the level of awards. 

Hunan Provincial Award for Excellent Achievements in Educational Scientific Research is selected every three years, aiming at rewarding excellent achievements in educational scientific research at all levels in Hunan province. The awards are especially focused on rewarding outstanding educational research results that have made outstanding contributions to solving major theoretical and practical issues arising from education reform and development in Hunan province. A total of 180 outstanding achievements were awarded, including 30 first-class awards, 60 second-class awards and 90 third-class awards. (Research Institute of Higher Education)
