[Lushan Grand Lecture Hall] Wang Jinnan, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Lectured at HNUC

The 92th lecture of the Lushan Grand Lecture Hall was held at the Big Data and Internet Innovation Institute on March 24. Academician Wang Jinnan, Dean of the Environmental Planning Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, was invited to give a lecture. The theme of the lecture was “Big Data Analysis of Environmental Health Impacts of High-Speed Rail Travel”. The lecture was presided over by Academician Chen Xiaohong, President of HNUC, the Vice President Li Dingjun, relevant personnel of the Party and Administration Office and the Sci-Research Office, and all the teachers and team members of the Big Data and Internet Innovation Institute participated in the lecture.

Academician Wang Jinnan introduced the background of high-speed rail big data, analyzed the high-speed rail city connectivity and major node cities through the acquired high-speed rail data, the simplified Poisson Regression Model is used to analyze the atmospheric environmental health impact index of local and transit people in cities along the high-speed railway lines, comprehensive evaluation of atmospheric environmental health impacts of 16 high-speed rail lines, and the latest research results of his team also shared.

In this lecture, Academician Wang used a large amount of data and charts to introduce the status quo of China's high-speed rail development, and through the results of data analysis, explained the atmospheric environmental health impacts of local and transit people in cities along the high-speed rail lines. The lectures are easy to understand, simple and vivid. It has broadened the academic horizons of our teachers and students, and also has a strong practical guiding significance, benefited everyone. (Big Data and Internet Innovation Institute)
