Our University Achieved Good Results in the Provincial Comprehensive Evaluation of Undergraduate Majors in 2017

According to On Announcing Comprehensive Evaluation Results of Undergraduate Majors of Regular Colleges and Universities of Hunan Province in 2017 (XJT [2018] No. 419), the comprehensive evaluation result of Computer Science and Technology, English and Accounting is Class B, Class A and Class A, respectively.

Among them, the comprehensive evaluation result of Accounting is Class A. A total of 20 colleges and universities of the province participated in the evaluation and Accounting major of our University ranked fourth. The comprehensive evaluation result of English is Class A. A total of 30 colleges and universities of the province participated in the evaluation and English major of our University ranked sixth. The comprehensive evaluation result of Computer Science and Technology is Class B. A total of 29 colleges and universities of the province participated in the evaluation and Computer Science and Technology major of our University ranked ninth.

This comprehensive evaluation of undergraduate majors is an authoritative activity to comprehensively evaluate the majors as required by Ministry of Education, and an important measure to implement the national standard for teaching quality of undergraduate majors. The good results not only expand the comprehensive influence of relevant majors, but encourage other majors to further define the school-running orientation of majors, improve the teaching contents and curriculum system, deepen major construction and reform, strive to construct the first-class undergraduate majors and make positive contributions to the strategic goal of "becoming a university and doctor station".
