A Delegation from Consulate General of France in Wuhan Paid a Visit to Our University

On Sep. 21, Sébastien Bede and his delegation from Consulate General of French in Wuhan came to our University for an exchange visit. Vice President Li Dingjun met with the visiting guests, Pan Jian, Director of Department of International Exchange and Cooperation and Zhang Senkuan, Director of France Lanaguage Department of Foreign Language College attended the meeting.

Vice President Li Dingjun extended a warm welcome to Education Cooperation Specialist Sébastien Bede and his delegation from Consulate General of French in Wuhan on behalf of the University, and briefly introduced the basic conditions and development planning of the University. He expressed that the cooperation between the University and University of Tours is becoming mature, and about 20 students are sent to France for exchange study every year. He hoped that more students of HNUC could have the opportunity to study in France through the exchange cooperation between the two countries.
Sébastien Bede thanked the warm reception of our University, and understood the problems faced by the University during the exchange and communication with France in details. He said that Consulate General of French in Wuhan would support and help the exchange cooperation between HNUC and France's colleges and universities and institutions.
Subsequently, both parties also discussed China-France joint doctor cultivation programs to be conducted in the future and scientific research cooperation in Accounting, Business Management, tourism management and other fields.
After the meeting, Sébastien Bede met and discussed with students majoring in France of Foreign Language College, and introduced the basic information about the higher education system of France and the abroad study in France, and encouraged students to actively apply for the exchange study in France.
