Prof. Ding Baojun and Research Fellow Li Guicai from Jilin University of Finance and Economics Came to the University and Gave Lectures

On Jun. 15, Vice-chairman of China's Das Kapital Research Society, Vice-chairman of Historical Society of National Marxist Economic Theory, Vice-chairman of Das Kapital Research Society of National Colleges and Universities of Finance and Economics and Vice-president of Jilin University of Finance and Economics Prof. Ding Baojun and Deputy Editor of Contemporary Economic Research Li Guicai (Research Fellow) was invited to give lectures at the university, which was presided over by Vice-president Peng Jinqing.

Prof. Ding Baojun and Researcher Li Guicai made the lectures entitled as "Discussion on the Marxism's Advancing with the Times and Sinicization - and Discussion on the New Era of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" and "The Role of China's Financial System in Economic Growth: Restraining or Promoting?", respectively.

In the lecture, Prof. Ding Baojun combed skeleton from the Communist Manifesto to the Das Kapital, explained several ideological questions about Das Kapital, interpreted Marx's russianise viewpoint of Das Kapital and methodology of russianise and sinicization of Das Kapital, and analyzed why Caudine Forks of capitalism can be crossed? And he drew an important conclusion that specific content on russianise and sinicization of Das Kapital is mainly the "transformation" of scientific socialism theory in Das Kapital, and expounded how the russianise and sinicization of Das Kapital should opposite dogmatism. He pointed out that in the face of historical opportunity for the socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era, we must continue to adhere to sinicization of Das Kapital and take the road of building socialism across the Caudine Forks of capitalism.

Researcher Li Guicai explained how to correctly evaluate the role of China's financial system in economic development, how China's financial reform will go in the future, China's financial system reforms and financial deepening, etc.
