Secretary Tang Yayang Holds Conversation with 2018-class Graduate Representatives

The 2018-class Graduate Students Conversation was held in conference room 401, No.2 office building on Jun. 7. Tang Yayang, the Secretary of Party Committee and Zeng Fuqiu, the Vice President were present in the meeting. The Recruitment and Employment Office, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Academic Affairs, Graduate College, the vice secretaries of Party Committee of secondary colleges and 42 2018-class graduate representatives also participated in this meeting. The Vice President Zeng Fuqiu served as the moderator.

15 graduate representatives, including Mao Li, Xiong Yingjia, Long Zengyu, Chen Wang, Zhu Yani, Jiang Murong and others made active speeches to recall the four-year happy life in Hunan University of Commerce, shared their growth and feelings during learning, expressed their gratitude for alma mater and teachers and sadness for leaving, as well as talk their dreams and targets in the future freely. In addition, they also offer proposals and suggestions for student management, education and teaching, talent cultivation, employment service, self-employment service and other aspects of Hunan University of Commerce.

Finally, Tang Yayang extended his congratulations on the graduation and put forward the following expectations on behalf of Hunan University of Commerce: I. Firmly establish “all things in their being are good for something” faith. II. Build the good “first image”. III. Cultivate the core competitiveness. IV. Consider learning as a kind of life style and spiritual pursuit. V. Do a thoughtful mover. VI. Convey the positive, forward, simple and kindhearted energy. VII. Bear the school motto in mind, namely, “good faith to the letter and insist on honesty” and come back home frequently because Hunan University of Commerce is the home of students forever.

After the conversation, Secretary Tang Yayang and Vice President Zeng Fuqiu shook hands with graduates one by one in farewell. (Gong Zongming, Recruitment and Employment Office)
