HNUC is Allowed to Recruit in First Batch of Undergraduate and Realize the “Key University” Goal

Recently, the Education Department of Hunan Province issued Notice about Four Universities Adjusted to First Batch of Undergraduate Recruitment, including Hunan University of Technology. Since 2018, Hunan University of Commerce, Hunan University of Technology, Jishou University and Hunan Institute of Science and Technology are allowed to recruit in the first batch of undergraduate in Hunan Province. It means that our “three promotion” work is greatly developed and our “Key University” is realized successfully.
In recent years, we have made great breakthrough and impressive achievements after struggling and continued efforts under the leadership of Party Committee and administrative department; work hard on “three promotions” and “double first-class” continuously to realize the historical breakthrough in the aspect of national top-class talents and “three promotion” work; hit an all-time record in the National Natural Science Foundation of China approval level and quantity; establish the national reputation and platform for innovative and entrepreneurial education; hit a new high in the total contest winners of undergraduate; the comprehensive strength jumps to new height; the campus construction shows the new face. On the basis of reform, HNUC has promoted our development, increased the comprehensive strength steadily, made a new leap and achievements in discipline & degree program construction and talent cultivation respectively, showed the new layout in the aspect of scientific research and social service, got the new results in talent team construction and personnel management, as well as expanded the international and domestic exchange & cooperation day by day, as a result, HNUC is “greatly changed every three years” with increasingly enhanced development resultant force, meanwhile, the happiness index of teachers and students rises to new height and school-running reputation is increased continuously.
In order to serve the socio-economic development and cultivate more talents for educational province construction, Hunan University of Commerce will seize the “first batch of undergraduate recruitment” opportunity to promote the “double first-class” construction, improve the school-running conditions, strengthen the internal and external management, as well as increase the teaching management level, in addition, grasp the entrance examination reform to actively deepen the talent cultivation mode innovation, boost the educational teaching reform and increase the talent cultivation quality.
