Our Representative Team wins First Prize in the Final of 9th “Chahar Cup” Hunan Province University Students Marketing Competition

The final of 9th “Chahar Cup” Hunan Province University Students Marketing Competition sponsored by Hunan Association of Market Development and undertaken by College of Business Administration and College of Economics and Trade of HNUC was successfully held in the Multifunctional Lecture Hall in the morning of May 19. Li Jianxin, the Vice Chairman of Hunan Marketing Association, Nie Guoqing, a leader of Hunan University of Commerce, Gao Shougui, the Secretary of Party Committee of College of Business Administration, Xu Shu, the vice dean as well as some teachers and students of College of Business Administration also watched the game.
During the opening ceremony, Gao Shougui, the Secretary of College of Business Administration of HNUC served as the moderator. He introduced the competition background and procedures. Nie Guoqing, a professor and leader of HNUC, Professor Li Jianxin, the Vice Chairman of Hunan Association of Market Development, and Cui Jinyi, the General Manager of Hunan Subsidiary of Geermu Salinization (Group) Co., Ltd. made speeches one by one in this competition.
In preliminary contest and the final, 10 teams were allowed to enter the final after expert review. “Feed a Bag of Salt to Myself” Team which came from Hunan University of Commerce won the first prize by right of its feasible and innovative marketing planning scheme and excellent defense performance; the “Piao” Team of Hunan Institute of Engineering and “Yanxitiancheng” Team of Beijin College of Hunan University of Commerce ranked the second place; “Koudan” Team of Hunan University of Engineering, “Jinkouyuyan” Team of Hunan University of Commerce and “Socialism Successor” Team of Central South University of Forestry and Technology obtained the third prize.
It is reported that this competition is mainly aimed at deepening the talent cultivation requirements (ability and vocational development oriented) of Ministry of Education, establishing the practical marketing teaching and competition-driven learning mechanism, guiding and cultivating the marketing innovation, planning and strain ability of university students, strengthening and boosting the student teamwork, initiative professional ability, employment and entrepreneurship ability. Since the competition startup in the midmonth of Mar. this competition has lasted for two months after school trials and quarter-final in the midmonth and last ten-day of Apr. In Hunan Province, more than 100 teams which come from 10 universities participated in the preliminary contest. (Fan Xiang, Ding Xiangpeng)
