China University Football Association undertaken by HNUC Drops its Curtain in Southwest Competition Area

The Championship Fight of 2017-2018 China University Football Association in southwest competition area was held in HNUC stadium in the afternoon of May 5. After fierce competition for 90 minutes, Huazhong University of Science and Technology won the champion against Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (2:0). Liu Guoquan, the Vice President of Hunan University of Commerce, Jin Biao, a researcher of Physical Health and Arts Education Office under Provincial Education Department, Kuang Yumei, the Secretary of Party General Branch of Department of Physical Education and Research, Liu Wenzhi, who worked in Football Department of Federation of University Sports of China and Liu Zhengyang, the event operation director of Alisports.com were present in the closing ceremony.
During 8-day competition, players overcame the negative factors of weather and carried forward the hard working and hard-bitten spirits to make friends and learn from each other on the football field. They showed the young blood, lofty sentiments and aspirations of contemporary university students.
HNUC paid high attentions to prepare and organize the activity in real earnest. Before the competition, the Secretary of the Party Committee Tang Yayang investigated the competition preparation in Department of Physical Education and Research, visited our football players and cheered them up. The players made indomitable struggle and valiant rush. The audiences were active in participating in and watching the competition. The host school showed up their demeanor and enthusiasm in this competition.
Ultimately, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Nanchang Institute of Science & Technology and Chengdu University of Technology won the first, second, third and fourth prize respectively. As for Ethic Award, Hunan University of Commerce, Hunan University and Chongqing Jiaotong University made their marks.
