Party Committee Secretary Tang Yayang Went to Xingdong Village for Survey

On February 19, the University Party Committee secretary Tang Yayang, vice president Peng Jinqing and his party went to Xingdong Village to research on the settle-in assistance and the targeted poverty alleviation work. Chen Lixian, county magistrate of Xinshao County’s People's Government, Gan Dejian, head of Organization Department of the University Party Committee, Liu Qixiang, dean of School of Law and Public Administration, and the responsible personnel of Government Office, Poverty Alleviation Office and the Party Committee of Tanxi Town of Xinshao County participated in this research.
Secretary Tang Yayang and his entourage visited the senior Party members Chen Shanhua, Yang Wensheng, and Tang Desheng one after another, and inspected the projects including tractor road construction, forest-road construction, selenium-rich industrial base, pilot fish pond transformed from barren farm, and the reconstruction of dilapidated buildings, etc.
In Xingjia Primary School, secretary Tang Yayang and his entourage visited the volunteer teachers from Nanjing, Jiangsu, and praised them for overcoming difficulties in language, eating habits, and customs, etc, and rooted in poor mountain areas to provide long-term volunteer services. He asked the work force to offer more care to the volunteer teachers, left-behind children, and children of special families, and to work hard on and innovate poverty alleviation through education.
After listening carefully to the opinion and suggestions of local Party members, cadres, and the public on poverty alleviation of the village in 2017, on behalf of the University, secretary Tang Yayang thanked local departments of all levels and the public for offering care, understanding and support to the work force of our university settling in the village for poverty alleviation. He hoped that after village combination, the new village committee and branch committee could cooperate with each other based on the principle of “Xingdong Village is a big family of which the harmony can bring success to everything”, effectively integrate assistance resources of all levels, tackle tough issues, and make sure that by the end of this year this village could get rid of the name of “poor village”.
On behalf of the County Party Committee and government, Chen Lixian, the magistrate of Xinshao County, sincerely thanks leaders, teachers and students of HNUC for their friendship with and selfless help to Xingdong Village, spoke highly of the work style and performances of our university’s’ settle-in work force, fully affirmed the achievements of Xingdong Village in terms of targeted poverty alleviation, poverty alleviation through education, industrial development, infrastructure, and organization construction, etc. He hoped that the settle-in cadres and local leaders would further foster characteristics, sum up experience and strive to make Xingdong Village a demonstration village of poverty alleviation through educational development, and an example of poverty alleviation through industrial development.
