HNUC Attended the Meeting which was about Materials Written and Audited of Provincial Educational Figures and Gave an Typical Speech

On 10th January, the meeting which was about materials written and audited of provincial educational figures was held in Changsha. Chen Baiyu, director of Editorial Board of Provincial Educational Historical Records, vice director Liao Xiangsheng, vice-director Hu Xuejun, vice director Shi Dengming, and vice-Director of Office of Historical Records Yang Jinhong attended the meeting. In addition, more than 300 responsible persons who are in charge of compiling from universities and the municipal education bureaus attended the meeting.

At the meeting, director Chen Baiyu and vice-director Hu Xuejun analyzed several important issues needed to be grasped in the self-censorship process of “Education Figures Records of Hunan Province” and they also commented on the job situation of each universities. Vice-director Shi Dengming required each unit to include the compiling of figures records on the list in 2017. And he also asked every responsible person to do the compiling work well in an attitude responsible for history, units, figures and yourself. Later on, Hunan University of Commerce, Xiangtan University, Hunan Institute of Science and Technology, Changsha Social Work College and Yueyang Education Bureau introduced their working experience one after another and exchanged ideas in terms of issues which they met in the process of compiling work.

As the only representative with the name of “Yuan” among universities, Hunan University of Commerce was the only unit which gave a topical speech at the meetings of provincial education figures records three times in succession. Peng Hao, vice director of Party and Administration Office of HNUC, introduced the work thinking and concrete methods in the composing and auditing of education figures of HNUC at the meeting. And his presentation was well received by the attendees.
