Li Pengfei, Proprieter of Changsha Evening Newspaper, Was Employed to Serve as the Visiting Professor by HNUC, and Make the ”Journalism under the Internet Era” Report

In the afternoon of December 27, the employment ceremony of Li Pengfei, the proprieter of Changshan Evening Newspaper was held in the Multi-function Lecture Hall of Lingnan Campus. He was employed to serve as the visiting professor by our university and made a speech on "Journalism under the Internet Era". Liu Guoquan, professor and vice president, Yang Hong, professor in charge of "Hunan Modern Media Demonstration Base of Multi-disciplinary Talents University-industry Cooperation Cultivation", as well as the responsible persons from Academic Affairs Office, School of Literature and Journalism and other departments attended the conference.
Organized by the School of Literature and Journalism, this activity was considered as part of the construction contents in "Hunan Modern Media Demonstration Base of Multi-disciplinary Talents University-industry Cooperation Cultivation". It will be conducted in three stages: Base achievements presentation & awarding ceremony, employment ceremony and keynote speech.
Professor Yang Hong introduced the base construction plans. The base had done a lot of work in building the all-media practical teaching platform, establishing the "double-role" teaching team, cultivating the modern excellent talents in media and so on, and the talent cultivation achievements had been manifested. Therefore, the base will continue to make efforts towards the national-level university-industry cooperation cultivation demonstration base and develop into the demonstration prototype in the aspect of media talents cultivation in the higher education institutions.
The awarding ceremony of "Changsha Evening Newspaper Cup" news work competition was also held in this activity. As one of the university-enterprise cooperation contents, the base had launched "Changsha Evening Newspaper Cup" news work competition in 2015, until now, the foregoing competition has been held twice. In this competition, there were five awards about information, communication and in-depth broadcasting, news comment, news photography and version design. When the university teachers and senior media experts made the joint selection, 31 works were considered to be excellent.
After the prize-awarding ceremony, the vice president of HNUC Liu Guoquan awarded the visiting professor appointment letter to Li Pengfei, the proprieter and secretary of Party Committee of Changshan Evening Newspaper Group. The vice president Liu Guoquan spoke highly of the university-enterprise cooperation talents cultivation achievements between School of Literature and Journalism and Changsha Evening Newspaper Group, and encouraged this School to adapt to the new demands of talents cultivation in the Internet + era, keep exploring in strengthening the industry-education integration, innovating the talent cultivation mode and enhancing the talent cultivation quality, as well as continuously getting the new achievements.
After that, Li Pengfei made the keynote speech with the title of "Journalism in the Internet Era". The lecture enjoyed a warm and solemn atmosphere in the nearly two hours. During the interactive links, the students were active in asking questions and discussing the media development problems with the inside experts, which indicated that our news students had the professional level.
Approved in September 2014, the " Hunan Modern Media Demonstration Base of Multi-disciplinary Talents University-industry Cooperation Cultivation" was the talent cultivation base, which was built by HNUC and Changsha Evening Newspaper Group. For two years, the full-media university-enterprise cooperation talents cultivation demonstration base had been basically established with the features of functional diversity, flexible operation and resource sharing, under the leadership of Yang Hong, the professor and the base responsible person.
