Student Tao Ruqin Moves Hunan University of Commerce, and Leaders Received Her

In recent days, the news Tao Ruqin: University Student Walks into "Leprosy Village" for Ten Times which was written by the Propaganda Department of our university Party Committee was released on the front-page headline of China Education Daily, and the Wechat platform of Hunan Education News Network also made pushing on the first page. The News Network and official Wechat made the propaganda and broadcasting in time.
The above-mentioned news raised concerns from internal and external fields, then, Xinhua, Sina, Netease, Sohu, Tencent, REDNET and other domestic well-known websites reprinted and broadcasted the foregoing news with enthusiastic response. Many teachers, students and social people of all circles left the message to "praise the Hunan University of Commerce's students" and "pay respect to the affectionate volunteers"; Some alumni said that they hoped to contact with Tao Ruqin and help their voluntary activities. Tao Ruqin was the senior student in the Human Resources Management Specialty in the School of Business Administration. As a probationary Party member, she joined in the volunteer organization when she was a freshman. She came to the Leprosy rehabilitation villages in Hunan Province to carry out the voluntary service activities in her spare time.
On November 28-29, the secretary of Party Committee Tang Yayang, the president Chen Xiaohong, the deputy president Zeng Fuqiu interviewed Tao Ruqin to know her learning, living and voluntary activity conditions in details, and called on all students to learn the advanced deeds of Tao Ruqin.
The party secretary of our university Tang Yayang thought the dedicative and affectionate high-minded deeds and selfless mode of Tao Ruqin reflected the valuable spirits and favorable outlook of the modern university students, therefore, Tao Ruqin shall be considered as the brand and pride of our university. He hoped that the related departments can work on the propaganda education, cultivate the favorable campus culture, and continuously enhance the talent cultivation quality to foster more excellent students who were willing to study to make improvements and work on the voluntary services, just like Tao Ruqin.
The president Chen Xiaohong was greatly impressed by Tao Ruqin after reading the news report on the China Education Daily and the official Wechat of HNUC. She said that the dedication spirits, responsibility consciousness and accountability feeling which were reflected on Tao Ruqin had shown the excellent quality of 90s students, and hoped that Tao Ruqin could continue to accomplish and implement the voluntary service activities in the lepriasis rehabilitation villages under the supporting of the related departments.
The related leaders asked the Propaganda Department, Students' Affairs Department, Youth League Committee, other functional departments, the School of Business Administration and other secondary schools to seize Tao Ruqin's advanced deeds propaganda opportunity to further reinforce the propaganda education for the young university students, make the socialist core values become a common practice in the whole campus, as well as utilize the "pursuit of truth, kindness orientation and learning advocating" to drive the growth of young students. Tao Ruqin and her "partners" persisted in carrying out voluntary service activities in the lepriasis villages all the year round, which reflected the warm-hearted social feelings, lofty spiritual quality and steadfast action ability of 90s university students. They also intensively embodied the socialist core values ("patriotism, dedication, integrity and friendship"), therefore, which had the strong active guidance and model demonstration function.
