Professor Chen Xiaohong - president of HNUC- Gave a Plenary Lecture at the 18th China's Management Science Academic Annual Conference

On November 12, the 18th China's Management Science Academic Annual Conference jointly organized by Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Institutes of Science and Development, CAS and editorial department of Chinese Journal of Management Science was held in Xi'an. Academicians Peng Shige, Ouyang Xiaoping, Yang Shanlin, etc. of CAS, CAE and presidents and deans from nearly 60 national universities, national outstanding youth, Changjiang scholars, specially-appointed professors and nearly 600 experts and scholars in the management circle attended it. 6 well-known scholars in the management and economic and mathematical field gave plenary lectures at the conference. Professor Chen Xiaohong - president of our university was invited to participate in the conference and gave a plenary lecture.
The annual conference took "management innovation driven by big data" as the theme. Extensive academic communication and discussion regarding hotspot research issues in the current management science field were conducted after combining frontier questions of current social and economic development. At the conference, president Chen Xiaohong gave a report on "big data analysis and prediction for Xiangjiang River basin environment quality" by combining research emphasis. The report put forward the comprehensive assessment method for water quality based on proof inference by making use of environmental monitoring, economic society and climatic hydrologic data of Xiangjiang River basin for nearly 10 years with comprehensive dynamic evaluation for water quality of Xiangjiang River main stream and tributary; Clustering analysis and main component analysis were used, and main pollutant composition in the drainage basin water quality was found; Influence of economic development on water quality environment had been researched by applying space panel regression model; The variation trend of Xiangjiang River basin water environment quality till 2020 had been predicted by applying grey theory and neural network, etc. The important decision basis for water environment protection and governance of Xiangjiang River, etc. in the report was provided by big data analysis and prediction of water environment quality of the drainage basin.
China's Management Science Academic Annual Conference was one of academic conferences with the longest history, largest scale and highest norms in China's management circle, which had regarded domestic and overseas economic management and social management situation as scientific research direction for many years and actively carried out research and development activities for management science innovation. Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics taking part in joint organizations of this annual conference was an academic body founded by professor Hua Luogeng - famous mathematician in 1981 and had been exerting an extensive and profound social influence for several decades.
