John Bowman, the vice-president of American Frostburg State University, namely, the cooperative partner of our university in the Sino-foreign cooperative finance undergraduate project, was entrusted by the president of Frostburg State University to lead the delegation with Sudhir Singh, the dean of Commerce School as the head, to visit our university from September 22 to 24. Our university's president Chen Xiaohong enjoyably recalled the two-year friendly cooperation progress with the vice-president John Bowman, and made an in-depth communication with regard to the international financial talents cultivation by China and America. The leaders highly affirmed the effective project operation and said that they will be positive to support the project development, then, they granted an interview to all 2016 finance undergraduate freshmen, who had just finished their military training.
During the visiting, the delegation led by the vice-president John Bowman visited Tang Yayang, the secretary of the Party Committee, the vice-presidents Wang Minggao and Zeng Fuqiu of our university, expressed his gratitude for our supporting to the successful cooperative school-running project, and expected the students who were included in the cooperative project to come to America for learning and communication.
After that, the delegation led by the vice-president John Bowman made full negotiation and reached an agreement with our university's responsible persons who came from International Education College with regard to finance undergraduates' school registration in Frostburg State University and diploma issuing, American teachers teaching in our university, exchange and communication of project students studying in America, as well as other specific issues. They said that they will further lay the solid foundation for the project operation and effectively protect the students' development rights, interests and space. (Zhang Yangbin)
