Balloon Volleyball Competition Overflowing Excitement and High Spirit

On the evening of April 28th, the first mixed double balloon volleyball competition among faculty came to a successful end. Through intensified competing, the team representing Beijin College won the final. The second prize and the third fell on the team from School of Economy and Trade and team from Logistic Department respectively.

Journalists on the spot witnessed this heated game, in which players in uniform paid their all concentration on fighting for laurel. The ball was passed, caught, spiked or save, which gave a visual feast of both rivalry and interest, thus leading to continuous cheering and ovations.

This competition enjoyed a high degree of participation. With Labor Union of each school as unit, it was attended by a total of 25 teams which consisted of over 400 people among whom major directors of secondary school took the lead. Sports ad games always help check stuff and strengthen the cohesion of departments. This activity not merely enriched the spare time of faculty, enhanced their exchanges, mutual understanding and awareness of physical health, and fortified their body, but also represented a good spirit of enterprise and solidarity in faculty members.

“Exercise an hour a day, then you can stick to your job healthily for 50 years.” Physical health is the prerequisite and guarantee for the fulfillment of “Three Promotions”.
