President Chen Xiaohong Welcomed Delegation from East Texas Baptist Univ.

On the afternoon of Nov. 20, Alan Huesing, the director of International Education Office of East Texas Baptist University visited our university. School president Chen Xiaohong warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed the history, current development and the reflection on future Internationalization development. Mr. Huesing also introduced the history and featuring majors of their school. East Texas Baptist University, located in Marshall, central east Texas, enjoys beautiful environment and humanistic atmosphere and its training objective is cultivating excellent leaders of high quality.

Chen expressed her idea on joint educational projects to the director during the talk and Mr. Huesing showed his interest in opening the undergraduate program of accounting. The visit of this time is right under the appointment of the president of East Texas Baptist University.

Appointed by president Chen, the School of International Education inviting person from Office of International Exchanges and Cooperation conducted a detailed discussion and reached agreement with the American university: firstly, the two parties is signing “the Sino-American Joint Educational Project of Undergraduate Accounting Major” in 2015; secondly, the two will try to apply for the project to Ministry of Education next year; thirdly, the two defined the obligation, rights and benefit in the project; fourthly, the two appointed respective directors and contact and confirmed the project schedule.
