Delegation from U.S. Cleveland State University Invited to Visit Our School

On the afternoon of November 30th, Professor Zhou Haigang, president of Confucius Institute of U.S. Cleveland State University, along with his colleagues, was invited to visit our school. Vice-president Liu Guoquan received and met with those guests.

Liu Guoquan first made a brief introduction about the general situation of the school’s international cooperation and exchange. Liu hoped that Confucius Institute of US Cleveland State University and our school could strengthen mutual exchange and cooperation, establish friendly communications, and expand in-depth cooperation in international cooperation programs, faculty and students’ exchanges and academic communications. Liu especially hoped that new breakthroughs could be made in specialty of international economy and trade.

Professor Zhou Haigang, president of Confucius Institute of U.S. Cleveland State University, expressed his heartfelt thanks to our hospitality. He introduced the basic conditions of Cleveland State University and the development situation of Confucius Institute, and expressed his strong desire to enhance their international exchange and cooperation. Two sides made an in-depth communication and discussion in Chinese-foreign cooperation school-running patterns, international exchange students, foreign experts’ introduction, teachers’ overseas visiting and training, proceeding Master degree in America and curriculum innovation in Confucius Institute. Finally, the two sides showed the preliminary cooperation intention.
