School Leader Yang Hong Attends Working Conference of Higher Financial & Economic Education Branch of China Higher Education Association

November 11th and 12th witnessed the working conference of professional coordination panels of Higher Financial & Economic Education Branch of China Higher Education Association in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, with over 20 persons who are in charge of their respective panel attending the conference. Yang Hong, the leader of Hunan University of Commerce and the director of logistic management profession panel, presented in the conference. She also made her thematic address.
The main purposes of this conferences includes exchanging typical experience among professional coordination panels of Higher Financial & Economic Education Branch of China Higher Education Association, commending the advanced panels as well as discussing and exploring the new development path for the panels. On behalf of coordination panel of the logistic major in China’s finance university, Yang Hong made an experience introduction during the conference. It’s been said that since the establishment of the coordination panel in 2011, our university has been adhering to the principles of exchanging, cooperating and innovating, earnestly abiding to the panel’s regulation, holding the annual meeting in accordance with the routine, actively striving for the support and guidance from the commission of teaching instruction of the Ministry of Education, employing experts from universities and related industries as consultants, setting up the teaching alliance with other finance universities’ logistic management major, conducting the interschool exchange students program, organizing volunteers to support the logistic teaching in remote areas’ universities, and exploring new approaches in textbook compilation and curriculum construction. So far, we have achieved a marginal result in those respects and won the first prize during the first session of commendation meeting by the branch of the financial higher education.
The branch of the finance education of China’s higher education was established in 2005, with the approval from Ministry of Education and Ministry of Civil Affairs. So far, the branch has included 61 financial universities as its membership. Since 2005, the branch has been organizing the establishment of coordination panels in ways of volunteering application among branch members and examining and approving by the council. Exchanges and cooperation have been conducting among members in aspects of disciplinary building, teacher team building and facilities development, school management and others. With one university as a committee of coordination panel, 28 professional coordination panels have been set up so far.
