Professor Wang Minggao Gave Anti-corruption Lecture in Ningxiang

On October 29th, Professor Wang Minggao, Chief expert of Hunan Collaborative Innovation Center of Anti-corruption, was invited by Ningxiang County Disciplinary Committee to attend the sixth session of “anti-corruption week” motivational meeting for learning and implementing “CPC Anti-corruption Rules” and “CPC Disciplinary Regulations” and to give lecture for “Chuwei Breeze Forum.” Tan Xiaoping, secretary of county-level Party Committee and Party Work Committee in Ningxiang, Zhou Hui, county major of Ningxiang, and Zhang Bin, member of standing committee of Ningxiang county and secretary of Ningxiang County Disciplinary Committee as well as 120 members from County Party Committee, People’s Congress, government, CPPCC and other public institutions. Tan Xiaoping presided over the meeting and gave his comments on anti-corruption.

Professor Wang Minggao’s lecture was themed with “Prioritizing Disciplines”, and explained his understandings about “CPC Anti-corruption Rules” and “CPC Disciplinary Regulations”. He answered core questions of what prioritizing disciplines is, which disciplines should be prioritized and how to prioritize disciplines; used abundant real cases to explain how to build a clean government, use power, seek self-improvement, and govern families with integrity; looked forward to the prospect of China’s scientific and institutional anti-corruption with the focus on “adhering to regulate power, issues and staff with rules and implementing an effective mechanism of ‘do not, cannot and dare not corruption as soon as possible’”; and introduced anti-corruption systems of family property declaration system, finance real name system, the inheritance tax and gift tax systems and civil credit number security system. The 2-hour lecture won applauses from attendees.

When commenting on and praising the lecture, secretary Tan Xiaoping said Professor Wang Minggao made the profound theories of the Rules and the Regulations in simple ways, accurately grasped the new decision, inference and deployment on building clean Central Party and government, explicitly explained thoughts, directions and approaches for mass public servants under the circumstances of anti-corruption building, further strengthened their political, disciplinary and duty awareness, helped leaders at all levels have a clear-head before the pressing situations for comprehensively strengthening Party discipline and prioritizing disciplines, and sped up the progressing of new normal in building clean Party and government.

“Anti-corruption week” is a feature brand of Ningxiang County in building a clean government, and six sessions have been made since 2010. During the past six years, a total of over 80 theme activities have been held, involving 600,000 participants. “ChuWei Breeze Forum” represents the feature educational brand in Ningxiang County. “Hunan TV News”, the authoritative news program, made a full coverage for this forum.
