School Leaders Attend Accurate Poverty Alleviation in Xingjia Village

Chen Liying, the school’s sectary of Discipline Inspection Commission, Yang Hong, one of the school leaders, and Hu Sui, the member of Party Branch and the minister of Organization Department went to the 2015-2017 pairing-assistance village-- Xingjia village, Tanxi town, Xinshao County for a poverty alleviation visit. They helped to open a series of activities and probe in the reducing and alleviating work. Responsible persons from the Logistics Department, the School of Art and Design, the School of Business Administration and the School of Economy and Trade also took part in the visit. Meanwhile, 3 experts and technicians from the School of Art and Design and the Logistics Department stationed in the village and directed the pairing poverty alleviation. Till now, all members of the school party branch have paid visit to Xingjia village for at least once and altogether 17 person times have been to villagers in Xingjia.

Escorted by the village leaders, the visit team went to Group 12,5, 9,10 and 1, condoling villagers in difficulties including Sun Shuzhen, Yang Dingxiang, Sun Dawen, Shi Shengping, Shi Xueqin, Li Kuixiu, Li Zheying and Liu Kuanhong. The visit team asked the detailed situations and future plans of them and enjoined on the village leaders to help them with emotion and the sense of responsibility, implement the ideas and decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee and play the important roles as messenger, liaison, waiter and propagandist.

During the visit, the school leaders also visited key infrastructure projects of courtyard house building, group-connecting highway opening, drainage system remolding, etc. After the project visit, the team went to Xingjia Primary School and explored the existing problems in school building and developing. They attached much importance to the psychological and living conditions of children from disadvantaged families, emphasizing the significance of psychological counseling by undergraduates and postgraduates so as to prevent the inter-generational cycle of poverty.

In the end of the visit, the leaders including Chen Liying, Yang Hong and Hu Sui went to the dormitories of the stationed staff and showed concern about their accommodation. They spoke highly of the station team’s work and efficiency, praised their work features and achievements, encouraged them to keep on and make all out, making the service for local economical society as the schools new name card with earnest attitude.
