School Party Secretary Wang Hanqing Surveys and Guides Postgraduate Affairs

On the morning of Oct 23, Wang Hanqing, the school party secretary, and Yang Hong survived and guided the enrollment and cultivation work of postgraduate students in Graduate School.

Zhou Xiancheng, the dean of the Graduate School briefed the general situation and elaborated the future plan of postgraduate work as rationalizing the two-level postgraduate administrative regimes and explicating the rights, obligations and benefits; strengthening the team building and averaging up the administrative and guiding work; perfecting regimes and systems and gradually formalizing undergraduates education; strengthening connotation construction and promoting the education quality as well as expanding the teaching scale to meet the requirement of “Three Upgrades”. Tan Junliang, the Party Committee sectary of the School of Postgraduate introduced the basic conditions of the division, “Three Stricts and Three Honests” education and daily administrative works.

Chen Hong pointed out that the preliminary building of postgraduate education had laid a sound foundation and the whole members of the school had overcome the difficulty of being short of hands with passionate and active attitude. At the next stage, they should further rationalize the administrative regime in order to fulfill the “Three Upgrades” of the school.

After a caring listing to the reports, Wang Hanqing, secretary of the school CPC Committee, paid highly praise to their work and acknowledged their plan. He added that, first, we should conduct a change in the mind, find our own way, actively explore the cultivation regularity and create new concepts and thoughts; second, make a further rationalization of the regime and make up the staff vacancy to ensure smooth operation; third, try hard to increase the number of master stations; forth, ensure the quality of postgraduate education and source of students; fifth, strengthen the political education of postgraduates, enhancing their sense of belongings and sense of identity of socialist core value; sixth, attach importance to the high-quality employment of postgraduates; seventh, enlarge the cultivation scale so as to meet the “Three Promotions” in an early date.

After the meeting, Wang also visited the offices of the Postgraduate School and inspected their internal administrative control. Yang Liangqi, director of the Office of Party and Government Affairs also took part in the survey. (Yang Jia)
