Li Dingjun Appointed Vice President of HNUC by Provincial Party Committee

On the morning of July 16th, which is before the 4th Congress of Party Representatives, Zhu Zhenghua, the vice director of the Organization Department Fourth Office and Huang Xingliang, the vice minister of Organization Department of Provincial Teaching Committee, announced the decision of appointing Mr. Li Jun as the vice president of Hunan University of Commerce. The meet-and-greet was held in the school library by Wang Hanqing, the sectary of school Party Committee.

Zhu announced the reply about the candidate of 4th Committee of CPC Hunan University of Commerce and the Commission for Discipline Inspection from the Organization Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee as well as the decision about the appointment and dismissal of Hunan University of Commerce school leaders. He pointed out that, the appointment showed the Provincial Committee’s warm and deep concern about the school, which helps to promote school leaders’ exchange and communication and meets the requirement of team building of HNUC. He also introduced Mr. Li Jun and made his expectations to the change of leadership and election work of the school.

The school party sectary Wang Hanqing and the school president Chen Xiaohong made speeches in this meeting, showing their determinations of complementation the Provincial Party committee’s decision and invited comrade Li Dingjun to join in the school leading group and work cohesively to push forward the school development.

Li, as the vice president of the school, also showed his determination to work humbly, diligently, cohesively, autonomously and prudently in his speech.

Doctor and Professor Li Dingjun was born in Miluo City, Hunan Province in Jan. 1964. He started work from July. 1985 and now is the vice provincial committee commissioner of China Democratic League and member of the Provincial 12th NPC Standing Committee. The main educational and working experiences of him are as follows: 1981.9-1985.7, Hunan Agricultural College for Plant Protection; 1985.7-1988.8, teacher of Yueyang Vocational School; 1988.9-1991.7, Hunan Agricultural College for M.S. of Plant Pathology; 1991.7-2003.7, teacher of Plant Protection major of Hunan Agricultural College; 1998.9-2000.12, studying for PhD of Plant Pathology; 2003.7-2004.3, teacher of School of Biological Safety Science and Technology of Hunan Agricultural University; 2004.3-2010.2, Dean of International College of Hunan Agricultural University; 2010.2-now, vice president of Hunan Radio and Television University.
