Hunan University of Commerce (HUC) vice president Yang Hong paid a visit to its long time partner school Alfred University in the US during April 20 - 24. Mrs. Yang also brought an agreement on cooperation of undergraduate program and MBA program to Alfred’s president Charles M. Edmondson for signing. 

　　During the visit, Mrs. Yang and Mr. Charles exchanged ideas and introduced the latest progress of the joint education program between the two schools. 

　　Later, Mrs. Yang paid a special visit to the exchange students from HUC, encouraging them to cherish the opportunity of studying overseas. 

　　Alfred University is a comprehensive university in the Village of Alfred, Allegany County in Western New York, USA, south of Rochester and southeast of Buffalo. Alfred has an undergraduate population of around 2,000, and approximately 300 graduate students. The institution has five schools and colleges.

　　HUC has established partnership with Alfred University two years ago, and has sent 7 exchanges students, three visiting scholars, as well as a volunteer for teaching Chinese to the school.
