Mr. Chen Zhigang, the principle of Central South University (CSU)’s School of Software, senior member of China Computer Federation (CCF), and member of national education ministry’s computer science committee, delivered a lecture on the topic of software and data on Hunan University of Commerce (HUC)’s Lin Nan campus on May 27th.

　　Mr. Chen pointed out that software had profoundly changed the life around us and had become a industry of great strategic value for China. 

　　“I hope students today can cherish the opportunity of this information age and upgrade the skills to face the challenge,” said Chen during the speech. 

　　CSU is a comprehensive research university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. CSU is among the first tier universities in China and also a member of the Project 211 and the Project 985 with strength in science engineering and medical science.
