Chinese ceramics, as a treasure of Chinese culture, have a long history and profound cultural heritage. Among the ancient Chinese ceramics, the most famous ones are Ru kiln, Guan kiln, Ding kiln, Jun kiln, and Changsha kiln. These ceramics have reached a unique artistic peak in terms of production technology, decorative techniques, and design of vessel types. They are not only an important part of Chinese art history but also provide endless inspiration for the inheritance and development of cultural heritage in later generations. In order to showcase the historical and cultural features and exquisite craftsmanship of Chinese ceramics, Professor Yu Jian used various special artistic techniques such as composition, lighting, tonality, and structure. Through changes in black, white, and gray shades, he created a visually striking effect with a novel composition, rich tonality, and strong contrasts, capturing the symbolic meaning of black and white ceramics with human characteristics and presenting form and tonal beauty. The work "Ceramics" uses symbolic methods to express an image of pottery making. At the same time, it also conveys multi-layered meanings through symbolic symbols, including ancient and splendid Chinese culture, artisan spirit, and global influence.
